  • A signed statement of work (SOW) or service agreement

  • Agreed-upon rules of engagement
  • Payment of applicable fees

3. Authorization Requirements

Before any testing begins, you must provide written authorization confirming:

  • You own or have legal authority over the systems to be tested
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions and approvals
  • Testing will not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party agreements
  • You accept responsibility for any required notifications to third parties

4. Confidentiality

We treat all client information, including test results and findings, as strictly confidential. We will not disclose any information about our engagements to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law. We recommend executing a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before detailed discussions.

5. Limitations of Liability

While we take every precaution to minimize risk during testing:

  • We are not liable for any system downtime or data loss that may occur during authorized testing
  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement
  • We do not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be identified
  • We are not responsible for breaches that occur after our engagement

6. Intellectual Property

All methodologies, tools, and processes used in our testing remain our intellectual property. Deliverables (reports, findings) become your property upon full payment. You may not resell or redistribute our deliverables without written permission.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in the service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due within 30 days of receipt. We reserve the right to withhold deliverables until payment is received.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 5 business days before the scheduled start date. Late cancellations may be subject to fees as specified in the service agreement.

9. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data
  • Transmit malicious code or content
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
